1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Naamakaran.com ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
2. Description of Service
Naamakaran.com provides a digital platform for Hindu baby name discovery based on Vedic astrology principles including Rashi (Moon Sign), Nakshatra (Lunar Mansion), and Chaldean numerology. The platform also offers a free Kundli (birth chart) summary and premium detailed astrological analysis via a paid unlock. All astrological computations are provided for informational and cultural guidance purposes only.
3. Accuracy of Astrological Information
Naamakaran.com uses a simplified Vedic ephemeris algorithm based on Julian Day Number calculations with Lahiri ayanamsa correction. While we strive for accuracy within ±1° of lunar longitude, these calculations should not be used as a substitute for consultation with a certified Jyotishi (Vedic astrologer) for official naming ceremonies or major life decisions. The Platform accepts no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of the astrological outputs provided.
4. Payment Terms
The premium Kundli unlock is available for a one-time fee of ₹99 (Indian Rupees), processed securely via Razorpay. All payments are non-refundable once the premium report has been generated and delivered. If you experience a technical issue preventing access to your purchased report, please contact us within 7 days for resolution.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on Naamakaran.com — including but not limited to name databases, name meanings, astrological interpretations, blog articles, and the Vedic ephemeris engine — is the intellectual property of Naamakaran.com and is protected under applicable copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our name database or API, (c) use automated tools to bulk-access name or astrological data, or (d) impersonate any person or entity. Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension of access.
7. Privacy & Data
Birth details entered into the Free Kundli generator are processed entirely in-memory and are never stored in any database. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except as required by our payment processor (Razorpay) and advertising partner (Google AdSense). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific astrological outcome will be achieved. Vedic astrology is a traditional cultural science and not a regulated medical or legal discipline.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Naamakaran.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
